Topic: What do you do when your not on the forum?

I,m curious, I've never done anything like the forum. Some of you poeple put together words so well. I dont want to offend your intellgience buy responding with my limited " heineken" induced responses. Most of time I'm just reading what your saying!
So I thought I'd ask you. For me, an average day goes:

5am- 3 cups coffee, while on the forum
6am-off to work, rockin out on the way ( Neil Young's greatest hits) yesterday
6:30am clock in at the Post Office, classic rock most of the time on the headphones.
5:00pm driving home with sports talk on radio
6:00 walk the dog
6:30 eat dinner, cold beer, listen to the wife ( I didn't say talk to )
7:00 tune into the forum
8:00 watch the boob tube and listen some more to the boss!

I know what your thinking ( thats it?)

                   Just a simpleton in Cali.

I feel real dum right now, forgot Michael Lynch already addressed this a couple of days ago. This is the last time I tune in without my beer! I'll be back later, going to the store. Heineken on sale for twenty bucks a case.

Shredit, I think the 3 cups of "JOE" says it all! I love your vibe!!! I have this image of you in the postal bermuda shorts jamming out with mail flying everywhere. I'll take a happy Postal worker anyday!! The constants in my daily life include: letting the dog in/out/in/out......,getting my mother in/out/in/out of her wheelchair......feeding the dog the mother and the cat......being outside as much as possible. Until 2 wks ago I was the 10pm-8am on-call RN for the local home Hospice. As of last night I am back (after 10yrs!) in ICU. Easier to do 2 shifts a wk and care for my mom.  My worry is that I am so at peace with death that going back to battle it will be a shock to my sensibilities!! Finally, your wife needs to be your best friend, so work on that (a little motherly advice). Your Forum friend, Cathy   Michael, I thought that one had slipped by! LOL, LOL, I should have known better! And boys, Heineken has come out with a mini keg, really cute!  I forgot to say congrats on the first pitch!!!!! What a "guy" rush!! Remember to warm up!!!

Hey, what do you do outside the forum question got me thinking that i really want 48 hours a day.I am always doiing something but learned to build in time to relax.
Work as a manager for a Beautystore concern 'Ici paris xl' about 40 hours a week.We are involved in tv-program 'Looking Good' since last week.

Outside work;
Visit my parents twice a week and on sundays take my grandma out for a coffee, she lives alone in her house near the beach [ and near the Heineken family villa] and is still alive and kicking with her 90 years of age! My friends are important and all ages[ 18 / 90 years].
Spreading the word about Joe
@ with forum friends........Michael did you recieved dvd's??
Listening to classical / blues/ rock music
Making music [playing clarinet]
Reading and writing
This week:
Friday we having a girls day out shopping/film/music/drinks and meal on the beach.
Saturdayevening [work during the day] a birthday party and farewell party for a college.
Sunday to a workshop given by my niece [who's a writer / columnist /also on morning tv]
So you see a week is to short ...............

End up rolling out of bed around 8:30 and get dressed for work at 9, luckily it's only across town.  Since I'm a graduate student, my days are mostly research in my lab, but check the forum and my other regular sites at least once around lunch time.  Then it's normally more lab crap/classes until dinner.  Normally head back to the lab when the boss is gone for the night and end up watching the Braves game while I'm working or listen to some tunes.  The weekends are always much more fun.  Less work, more beer!

Now, thats the life. Ever read the history of Leo Fender, a friend of mine let me borrow a hard back he picked up a few years ago, great coffee table book!

Hey Shredit,  I hope I get to meet you and Deb.  I know exactly where Centerville is.  I am originally from southeast Iowa (Mt. PLeasant) so I know the Ottumwa area and outlying areas from there, i.e. Centerville.  Joe in Des Moines...would be lots of great midwest exposure for him.......you'd get to meet Photogal, too from Missouri, she and I are a traveling duo for midwest Joeshows.....bet Lee would come, too....what do ya' think Joe?  I say the Val Air Ballroom or outside at Simon Estes Ampitheatre that's down by The River.  One can wish, dream, and hope........Groovy scene  smile  pattyluvsjoe

Hi all. I'm a pro interpreter/translator currently working the UK-Italy-Belgium "triangle" as I call it smile. I travel quite a lot, but I've always got my portable with me! You'll find me closed up in an office 80% of the time doing translations and co-ordinating fellow workers, etc. Nothing boring....I LOVE my job..well, after 25+ yrs plus doing it smile. You might find me occupying an airport bar seat, sipping coffee with my mind 1000 miles away!!

I guess I love music alright and dig the best forums on the Net....I wouldn't be posting so much if I felt this was not a cool forum! I'm quite new to Joe's music, I think he deserves to be noticed..a lot!

Hi Dragster,
You can always join the streeteam and do what you can do to promote  Joe.
You don't have to be on it 24h a day whatever you can do to promote him is better than nothing right? I have a busy job to and somethimes after work i'm just tired of the day working, but dropping his name to friends,on other websites and little things like that already get's peolpe's mind thinking about it.
I recently took a friend with me to a Joe show (and she's more into heavy metal) but during the show she really liked it more and more.And she spreads the word to others.. wink

Pretty much work-eat-sleep. Weekdays leave the house 5am home at 6pm and in bed between 9 and 10. Weekends I try to squeeze in a poker tournament between catching up the week's leftover chores and general unfinished projects.
