I could pick up an Axe-Fx for £1200-1500 and a Lazy J 20w for around £1200. Total cost around £2700max

An OD3 is £2800.

It'd be either/or.

I'm quite happy enough with my setup right now anyway...no big changes for a while...and at least I own something from Lazy J...a pedal...that was pricey enough! Haha

Hey Ron, I've got the Ultra.  Been thinking about the II but possibly in a year or so, if ever.  Having too much fun learning about the current hardware/software modellers that I have... smile

Understand sounds great. If you not tried a Carol Ann OD3 if you get a chance you should take it for a ride.

Are you guys aware of ANY clips of the OD3 or OD3r?  Alan's site lists BB's Tone Solutions as a VA/MD dealer, but they're in IL so it may be tough to try one out.
