Topic: Hello from London

Hi Everyone

Just wanted to say hello.  Have been lurking around these parts for ages but thought I'd sign up tonight so I can share some photos of the man himself and some of his wonderful guitars (taken at London's Hammersmith Apollo last Friday night (21st October).  I'll post the photos in a thread of their own.

I've only discovered Joe's music in the last couple of years (via the breathtaking Royal Albert Hall DVD).  I'm a guitar player who never got the break.  I'm just a few years older than Joe (38) and share a lot of the same musical tastes and influences, especially the late great Paul Kossoff, who has influenced my vibrato more than any other.

Anyway, hello all, and I'm off now to try to figure out how to post some photos....

Clarke

Welcome and enjoy the forum.  The best way to do that is to participate in threads that most interest you.  Don't try to do it all, but don't just lurk any more!

Welcome Clarke! I'm also a newbie here, and a fellow Kossoff-loving guitarist (still hoping for his break!) Indeed, don't lurk, the more the merrier smile

Re: Hello from London

Welcome indeed Clarke and James.  If your spirit hasn't been broken, you have no missed break.  I've had them by missing the break you both may have provided me from daily drudge.
