ITALY

O K Let's get one thing Straight .... IF any of our crazy bonamasses over in the states are ever considering on seeing Joe mark & bogie in Europe
...... 1 WORD ...... ITALY ..... Yep Germany is great .... and  France is fantastic ....... England is so energetic........ and all the other countries are Brilliant.........
                    But ITALY is just Incredible ....... I mean the food is out of this world , and the people are so so friendly and the response to joe & the boys is wild wild wild ....... They are just frickin' crazy , They really have taken joe to their hearts in their Beautiful country.
And for me , i always wanted to visit italy and what better way to do it ( i did'nt think it'd be that good) try it you wont be dissapointed

A quick run down of the 4 dates in Italia

Sun 18th march .... Colle val d'elsa .... Sonar .... 300 people .... joe's 1st ever opening italin show ...... just warming up (burning hell in set)
Mon 19th march .... ROME .... Stazzione birri .... 600 people .... surprisingly large arena (all seated)  joe slayed them like a gladiator (blues deluxe) came out to play AWESOME VERSION ........ this show was taped for italian t v by a tv station there
Tues 20th march .... Cortemaggoire .... fillmore club .... 500 people .... very fun lovin boisterous crowd ..... brilliant new drum solo by bogie
Wed 21st march .... MILAN .... Transilvania .... 700 people (wow) this was the best show i've ever seen joe do . i thought all the other shows were brilliant but Joe Bogie Mark just took it up another notch .. they have got more gears and some more in the tank it's just unbelievable . Faster Tighter Joe was Soloing like so fast it was Incredible .... runs and improvising (The Godfather theme on acoustic in woke up dreaming) just unreal talent and as i looked around i saw peoples eyes transfixed and you could see a sea of quite mesmerised faces just quietly staring (he was on fire) .... This was the wildest audience and the boys were feeding off the electricity of the crowd which in turn made the boys crank it up ever more and i even saw Dave , Joes guitar tech , who sees him every night , just sitting at the side shaking his head and movin feet to the boys (it was a wild one in Transilvania) plus the Italian PA's were crisp & Powerful ........ and one guy at Cortemaggiore before joe came on was touting alll the great guitarists of years gone by .. hendrix page stevie ray beck clapton vai you know a bit drunk (i know all the best 6 stringers) at end of show & lucky jack will back me up here .. he was shouting in broken italian "Joe you are the best guitar man in the universe" true funnee , bless him .....
I'd just like to thank joe personally for making my first trip to italy a memorable one ........ and i'll leave the last word with JB and i quote
   "This is my first tour of Italy .. But it wont be my last"   grazzi   ciao
