Government intrusions like this are one reason that goes into a company's decision to move their production operations elsewhere

If that is how a company decides they are going to make their lemonade, elsewhere, good for them! I see no problem.

My posts aren't made with a huge concern for understanding by many, sometimes not any! Putting my imprint wherever, however, graffiti like.

I'm supporting Gibson. I put an order in on a limited edition Gibson USA Flying V on Tuesday. GC gave me the 15% Labor Day discount too (they usually do not discount Gibson guitars).

The law calls for seizure and forfeiture of illegal timber or timber products whether or not the person or company knows or knew of any illegal activity involved in it's procurement-yes, those things others may have done wrong can come down hard on your life through or though no fault of your own! The government bears the burden of PROOF that a violation occurs, regardless if domestic or foreign law held in violation. If there is no knowledge of violations at any point, due vigilance and utmost good faith exercised, there will be no penalty assessed.  Materials are not subject to return though.  sad

So far we have to call this government "suspicion" only until they put their proof on the scales of justice.  We have to ask the question though, was it REALLY effing necessary to come in with weapons???!!!  I mean (it), REALLY???!!!  mad You think Gibson has a secret underground compartment in case of government raid???!!!
