Thinking of you all there. Funny how the  banner has come full circle and Glo is going to see it off. Well, a little bit of me and the wife is there in spirit, our send off siggies.  smile  Rocket can represent the SoCal clan with gusto. Rock On friends. We await the reports. Re: Beacon Theater NYC

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but checking Warren's web site, he's playing in Houston tonight and Dallas tomorrow night.

Me thinks he ain't gonna be at the Beacon this weekend.

Hope EVERYONE attending has a fantastic time.  Can't wait to read about it.

Re: Beacon Theater NYC

Just got an email from the Beacon Theatre.

Last minute seats released.  I checked and row AA seats 5 and 7 came up.  Thats FRONT ROW.  I didn't take them but SOMEONE should.

See you all tomorrow!!!!!

If you look up to the heavens just before the start of every Joe Bonamasaa concert you can see Stevie, Jimi, Muddy, Gary and others leaning over God’s railing jockeying for the best view.
And if you listen, you can hear Stevie say  “ SHHhhhh,  The kids about to start playing.”

My wife usually needs a Xanax before flying...I may need one to prevent myself from flying to NY without the plane. Wishing I was there tonight!

Re: Beacon Theater NYC

Just back from the Beacon.  Joe and company excellent as usual.

Odd set list, lots of Black Rock.  Many concessions to DVD filming.

Crowd loved Blue and Evil, Joe didn't seem to be into that one.

Midnight Blues: spectacular!

New touches to MT, nice.

Beth good, Rodgers great, somebody give JohnHiatt a Zoloft.

Curious to see what tomorrow night brings.

Re: Beacon Theater NYC

Did Paul Rodgers say anything about Joe and vice versa? Those were the 2 songs I would have bet on but perhaps they will change it tonight. If so, I would bet on WIMS and Mr. Big.

Why did I have to have a wedding today?  sad

Re: Beacon Theater NYC

I was there last night and it was a great show.  Seeing him play with Paul Rodgers was just awesome!  However, there were a few songs I missed seeing like Woke Up Dreaming, So Many Roads (especially), and Just Got Paid.  I felt like he really didn't start ripping until the encore.  I guess it was just a very unusually set list.  Nonetheless, I still loved seeing him play.  I'm debating on going tonight, but don't want to see the same show.

i hope not . he has so many other great songs why do you want to keep hearing the same tunes over and over for . i love those songs to but lets put them in the closet for awhile and then break them out in a year or so and then see how much you will like seeing them live ..
