Topic: Medusa intro pedal???

Could anyone tell me what effect Joe is using on the intro to Medusa....? I have just bought a boss tremolo from eBay but it hasn't arrived yet.....

Re: Medusa intro pedal???

Yep thats a tremolo pedal at the start. I think Joe used a Fulltone supa trem on the record but the TR-2 should get you 90% there.

Guitars: Epiphone JBLP, Epiphone Les Paul Custom
Amps: Marshall Vintage Modern, 18 watt clone

Re: Medusa intro pedal???

When BCC played it live Joe used his MXR Micro Flanger. In studio Tremolo.

I've got boss so I'll give you settings that might help
rate at about 10 or 11 o'clock
wave at 1 or 2 o'clock
Depth also 1or 2 o'clock

Hope that helps smile

Re: Medusa intro pedal???

And If You'd like to capture these soft tremolo ,,always on" sounds on TR-2 try rate at 2 o'clock , depth and wave at about 10  smile
