Topic: pedal board

Hi everyone,

Ok, so, I have yet another question about pedal boards.  I have a cheap board that i bought ($80).  The power supply went out on it, but the board is still in pretty good condition.  A couple questions.

1.  Should I just get a power supply?  If so, is there a reletively cheap one that you can recommend?  I have a 1spot and it hums like CRAZY!!!

2.  Should I find another pedal board with a power supply built in?

THanks!

Re: pedal board

I highly recommend a Voodoo Lab Power Plus 2

got my vote on that too.

was getting lots of a/c hum on my Power-All power supply, even though they stated 'special low noise'

bought the Voodoo.2+  dropped the noise floor a lot.

Well worth your money.

Re: pedal board

I, also, agree with the Pedal Power 2 Plus.  Made a huge difference for me.

Amps: Hand Made JTM-45, 18 Watt TMB, AB763 Pro, Route 66 Clone.
Guitars: 2007 R8 Les Paul Iced Tea Burst, Refinished 83 Les Paul Studio, , Homemade 50's S style guitar.
Effects: Micro Vibe, CryBaby, Fulldrive II, OCD, Fat Boost V1

Re: pedal board

VL user here too. I think it's great. I don't notice it, which is what you WANT to happen. If you notice your power supply and it adds noise, it's not doing its job.

Re: pedal board

Gigrig is the absolute bomb for power supply, VL 2 is good but we have been let down by 2 different VL systems, they just don't tour well for us. Gigrig  gibes es you loads more power capability, less interference and the system is very very neat. The power feed seams cleaner too. I'll try and post a pick later today.
