Topic: Marshall 4x12 wiring??

Could any of you guys let me know where I can find wiring diagrams for my marshall 4x12 ( 4x16 ohm vintage 30's, and what is the best way to have it wired up, I use a DSL 100 head with it but just yesterday was told the cab was wired as 4ohms when it was surposed to be 8ohms , as I have always had the selector switch set at 8 ohms......confusing I know ( well to me it is) what way should I have it wired to get a big clean sound??

I assume the cab was probably re wired at some point and is now wired for 4ohm mono?  Regardless of what ohms the speakers are, a 4x12 wired in series or parallel will still be the same as far as where the wires go.  Depends what ohms your speakers are to know exactly what it will be wired for.  With the DSL you have the choice to power a cab of 4/8/16ohms so you're covered no matter what situation you're in.
