Sharks went from HOT to NOT real quick.
I'm hoping the Caps go from NOT to HOT
Blackhawks move to 10-0-2 with 3-0 win over the Preds, taking 10 of a possible 12 points on this road trip.
I'm attending tomorrow nights game against the Ducks....almost wishing they weren't coming back home, as well as they've played on the road (8-0-2).

Ducks are doing fairly well also. Will there be icy quacks found in the Blackhawks lineup?

Yeah, the Ducks have been on a pretty good stretch of late...should be a great game!

Hawks vs Duck has all the makings of a GREAT game. Doubt if I'll be able to find it on TV on the west side though.
SJS got absolutly drubbed by the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight.
Interesting fact....The season is 1/4 over.
Early season hot ones fading a little and the pack coming on. Go Rangers!
Sharks vs Hawks tonight.
They way they are both playing I'd say 4-1 Hawks.

ESP? Almost there in the 2nd period, 3-1 Hawks.

OK, they just played Chelsea Dagger again, which means its now 4-1 Hawks. I hope you put a bet down.

Nope...Just a off the top of my head guess for fun.
Tell ya what though, the Hawks are what every fan wants in a team and sure as hell what the Sharks aren't.....Young, Fast, Well Coached and Tough.
Although I do think the Sharks are fairly well coached. Mainly missing being young and fast.
So the Hawks, who have 16 straight games with at least 1 point and haven't lost a game in regulation, go for the record on Friday night.........Against SJS.
Oh, Great.

That wound up being a very well played game on both sides...Hawks prevail 2-1, but lots of chances both ways. Niemi gave up a couple of "soft" goals, which reinforces the saying about getting pucks to the net because you never know what's going to happen.
The NHL record streak the Hawks are on is fun, but it means nothing unless they win the Cup.

That was a great game played by both. It's just very obvious that the Sharks aren't in the same league as the Hawks at this point of the abbriveated season.
And after tonights loss to the Stars I'm out.....If (IF) the Sharks make the playoffs (or go on a killer run) I'll check back in.....Good Luck Bill S....I'd put money on the Hawks to WIN IT ALL.
And the Blackhawks just keep rolling...now 17-0-3, 20 straight games with at least a point (37 of a possible 40 points), the best start in NHL history. The all time points streak is 35 games...Hawks are now at 26 straight when you include the end of last year's regular season. The odds of them winning another 10 straight are pretty slim, but they are on a huge roll, so who knows.
For the hockey fans out there, the Hawks first goal was a thing of beauty: Off the opening face-off, 6 passes, all 5 Hawks touch the puck and it was in the back of the net 12 seconds into the game, without a Blues player touching the puck.

Oh quit bragging, Hahahah. What is it now 21?
Screw the Hawks & the Sharks........Alvin Lee has passed away.

Yeah, I intentionally avoided this topic for awhile because of that. Streak now at 24 this year, 30 including a 6 game streak at the end of last year.
