Very nice review. With so many modestly priced guitars sounding like appliances, it's great to see the experts agree the Epi JBLP is a real musical instrument. I love mine too!
My son bought SD Blackouts to install on his JBLP guitar. The pickups were in hand last Dec, but the guitar didn't arrive until late Feb. Given the stock sound he has not worked up the desire to do the swap. I have a feeling the Blackouts are going to end up in something else!
