Re: change pots

Long shaft CTS pots is what you want.  I don't know that Bumble Bee caps are worth what they charge for them, you could get a lot of different paper and oil caps that are much cheaper that sound just as good.  RS Guitarworks sells all this and more if you need something.  If you search Youtube there is a great video of a guy using the same guitar but switching out the caps to change the tone.  Hope that helps.

Re: change pots

RS Guitarworks is the way to go. Some may argue they're a bit pricey but I can definitely tell a difference after I upgraded my Les Paul Traditional with their pots and caps. Tell them what guitar you have and they'll tell you what you need.

Re: change pots

You dont need long shaft pots for an Epiphone.  Short shafts will work.  You can buy a wired 50's style harness from Hoagland Brothers with CTS amd Switchcraft USA parts for easy money.

I've used their stuff many times and my thoughts are you can't do it better for less!  I love the seperate volume controls on the Les Paul harnesses!  The improvement is immediate, even with the stock pickups.  It's even better with upgraded pickups.
