Topic: Guitar volume

Hey guys:)

I was just wondering if having an acoustic guitar's volume knob all the way up and the amp volume down would be better than having the guitar's volume knob down and the amp's volume up? Is there any difference between the 2?

Well for one thing I always make sure the amp is a little loud and then quiet it down with guitar volume. I just find it easier to control volume with the guitar. Also depending on the tone you want if the amp is to low you will only get clean. Even playing accoustic to clean could sound thin.
