Topic: Bonaburst #33 is mine

I'm still pretty new to the forum, but I'm very excited.

I just got off the phone with Wildwood and Bonaburst #33 is shipping out to me on Monday.   big_smile  big_smile

Now it's a waiting game.

Make sure you or an adult is home when it's delivered. WW shipping requires a adult signature.

I'm actually quite excited.

This will be my first Les Paul and my first new guitar in quite some time.

Dealing with the folks at Wildwood was a real pleasure as well.

My wife told me that I "had" to get the JB limited Fuzz Face, so I just finished ordering that as well.

I guess it's a Bonalicious type of day today.

Wildwood is indeed excellent to deal with. But you need to call them back. Ask to pre-order the new Joe Bonamassa Signature Gibson Les Paul Studio that will be out late May!

Congrats. I had been looking at the one for a long time. I think that was the last on left that was under 9 lbs. I have said this before these Guitars are just crazy good players. Enjoy the new guitar.

Hey Spider, where did you get the info about the Studio being out in May? I haven't seen anything concrete from Gibson or anyone else other than the original April time frame from Wildwood. One of the Gibson forums was talking about this fall as a possible release time.

Gibson has some new Studios with figured tops. It would be nice to see Joe's available in something other than the Goldtop. At least I think so anyway......

will any be available in blue...??  or gold top?? burst??  what are the option??   i love the jblp in blue..  i really want a blue one.. its sexy to me.. but with only like five ever made i will not have one of those.. i could get a blue les paul 57' reissue but the jb has different specs.. i think?? not sure on all the specs.. thanks for the decal spider.. havent received it yet.. are you on jbxp??whats your name on there?? bonafan---cliff

I think it wouldn't be that hard to make about any LP look more like Joe's (except for the black back which IMO looks awesome). Change the hardware and knobs and you should be good. Of course neck profiles and subtilties will differ but you get the same vibe big_smile

As far as I know Cliff the studios will all be glossy goldtops. Gibson did a limited release of candy apple blue Les Paul standards a couple years ago. They looked exactly like the blue JBLP's!
