ok just got back from the Dow Event Center in Saginaw Michigan.........A FANTASTIC evening!!!!  First, myself my wife, my 4 yr old son Vince, and my Dad wen to the meet and greet...there were probably 30 people there waiting for Joe to come in.  As soon as he did, my son Vince ran over to him and said "HI JOE"!!! Graciously Joe turned to him, gave him five and then came over to get pictures taken and sign Vince's guitars..His favorite song being just got paid...so santa got him an Epiphone Korina flying V, which Joe signed.....Then Joe told us to hang out until the meet and greet was over..he was going to take Vince (and us) backstage!!!!!!!  When Joe was done he took us backstage and let Vince see all his guitars!!!!  Joe even let Vince hold HIS Gibson Flying V!!!!!!!  I really cant thank Joe enough for all of this....Vince was walking on clouds!!!!

then we went to the show later.......GREAT show!!!!  Fantastic and we all thouroughly enjoyed the concert...I thought Joe was GREAT and also enjoyed Tal on the drums..........Great Flood made it back into the setlist,,in case anyone wanted to know.
Highlight was Woke up Dreaming and Lonesome Road Blues(Joe and Tal interact here and it was GREAT!

so again THANK YOU JOE,,,for making Vinces Day!!!!!!!!!  He wanted to tell you Goodbye.........so i told him i would tell you on the website!  Take Care

How cool for your son! He'll never forget that experience. Great review and so happy that those tunes are still sneaking in the set list.  smile  smile  smile

I didn't know there was a meet and greet. How do things like that work? Do you have to be invited or pay extra or something? Amazing show by the way, a little over 2 hours of non stop jamming.

a while back they had a promotion...........you bought a lithograph pic of Joe and get 4 tix and meet and greets to any show............that was almost a year ago........we waited till he came near us.............and that was it!  VERY COOL!

Vince will never forget that...........he was a bit starstruck!!!!!  someone he had seen on tv so many times (the rockpalast dvd and Royal Albert Hall dvd must have been played a thousand times each!!!!)

This is an awesome experience, and one that will be remembered by you and your family for life! As a newbie, I cannot imagine but marvel at Joe's humble gestures to so many fans, diehards and newbies, young and old, in spite of a grueling road tour...cannot imagine how Joe and the band do it year after year. This is how great music, and the overall experience, ought to be. I'm literally counting down the minutes to Reading PA 3/23....

Great story. I was hoping to go to both the Saginaw and Grand Rapids shows, but my schedule wouldn't allow.  Glad you guys had such a memorable time.  Rock on Vince!
