Yes, I got Tijuana Bible signed, which is so cool because I have the signatures of Jim, Shawn (keyboard) & Andy (whose tatoo is on the back)

Forgot to get John Henry signed roll

And I saw Jim sitting on the loading dock and wished that I had called him over so I could get a photo with both he & Joe, but the gerbils in my head were spinning out of control especially when Joe asked me about a certain wine!

My husband, Sully was taking photos the whole time and never got to meet Joe!

I think we need to go to more Joe concerts so we can get the whole "meet & greet" thing down  wink

I can relate. Totally spaced and forgot the two bottles I had for Joe at the M&G. sad Oh well, it will be better next time.

Re: Dallas, TX

The show was awesome last night!!!!!!!! Young Man Blues, Slow Gin, Just Got Paid, & Woke Up Dreaming were just a few highlights. He really puts alot of passion into his playing and singing. I hope I can see him again soon.

Yep -- great show, great crowd.

Joe's following in Dallas is now nearing what it should be. Us Texans pride ourselves on bigger and better and its about time we got there in this particular area.

I remember when........ so it puts a special smile on my face to see that crowd on Saturday night.

Re: Dallas, TX

So this is how good the show was.
On the way in I had a fender bender with someone who doesn't understand the concept of merging traffic.
To get a pen to write down their information, my wife dumped out her purse in the car.  When we finally parked, we could only locate one ticket (they were in her purse).  I was in a horrible mood.  Finally we found the other ticket and walked into the show after it started.
As soon as I sat down, all that just washed away and I had a great time.
It may have been where I sat, but the sound was much better than at the Bass Hall last year (I thought it was a little muddy and boomy at that show).

Re: Dallas, TX

I thought the show was very good.  Somewhere in the first few songs i thought something was off and I figured it probably was the drums...new drummer and all...didn't notice it after that so much.  I thought I would miss Boggie, but this new guy and Joe and Carmine seemed to be having fun together, so that was good..and clearly the guy is skilled enough so looks like it's gonna work fine.  They started with a lot of old stuff, so it was really good to hear all that again.

Woulda been better if the drunk guy behind me wasn't constantly saying stuff loud (in his opinion for our benefit), like

Re: Dallas, TX

I'm interested in one or two tickets to the Dallas show should anyone have availability.
Glad to pay face value or a little more.....

Re: Dallas, TX

Looking forward to the 30th!
Unfortunately, Mr. Jim Suhler will not be in town this year so he wanted me to pass on a message to Joe..."when are we going to play again?"

I personally think it would be awesome to see Jim & Joe together smile

Together again, yup, be nice.

When George, Cathy, & I saw and hung out with Jim & the guys in Belgium just days before Joe's Vienna acoustic performance, I mentioned to him it would be good to get another Joe-Jim song or jam...(maybe even recording a song on one of your albums, Joe? hmm)

Re: Dallas, TX

Hey Rocket, Rockfarmer & I will be seeing Jim on the 8th. I will pass on your message.

Lizzee, I will see if there are any iPhone covers.

My review will be basic because I just get lost in the music and don't really pay attention to what guitar is being played or what the song order is...I'm just tickled to be at a Joe Show!

Joe just tweeted that he is on his way!!!!!

Re: Dallas, TX

Unfortunately, I won't be making it to tonight's show. Hope everyone else has fun though.
