Topic: Our young golfer

Anthony Paolucci, a local high school golfer, got to play at Torrey Pines this past weekend as an amateur. HE BEAT TIGER, finishing the 4 rounds at -3/285. Watch for this name in the future. He is the top junior golfer in the US at present.

Rick, that is impressive.  And what a WOW statement for an 18 year old to say he beat Tiger Woods!!  Keep us posted, I'd say Anthony's on to a memorable golf career.

He is playing in a pro tourney in Memphis soon with a PGA invite after that performance. I think he would have taken home about 80K with that finish. Earlier in the week, before the tournament, he was practicing in a foursome including Lefty. Playing best ball, he had the last putt to halve, Lefty got in his head before the stroke with a quip and the kid missed. Mikelson said, as he pocketed the kids 20, something like no charge for the lesson in concentration. Looks like the lesson was well taken.
