what a coinkidink there Michael, I just posted him last night on what are you listening to right now. My son played Wall of Soul for me and I was hooked. Oh, I wish I could be there for it. I do love the Good Thang, my son said he didn't think it was posted. What I like most, at least in the studio, is his voice. He can sound like Al Green one song, James Brown, Dr John, Jimi....the list goes on. Wall of Soul also includes an incredible version of Spanish Castle Magic. son and I are headed to Memphis to see Eric in concert this Thursday, and it is lightly rumored that Lance will show up for this. I really like the new CD too, but want to listen a little more before rendering judgement. I'm sure it will be a great show, grab Brack and get him to go too.

What is the London date... and where ? 

I saw Lance the first time at the Rockpalastshow in Tanzbrunnen in Cologne in Germany where Joe performed as well, so did The Brew (another great band, check them out too). Backstage I was looking for Joe, to give him the Joe wine and he was talking with Lance about.....guitars. After that I saw Lances show and   it was great. Last September he performed in de Bosuil in Weert Holland and I asked Lance for an interview for www.bluesmagazine.nl 
I met him before the show and he was , like Joe, so unbelievable nice and friendly. ( When I said that we met in Cologne with Joe , his answer: Sure I remember you: Joe and I were talking about gear  when you came!  That was more than a year ago and he still recognized me.
We spent a long time in his dressingroom, where he put new strings on the guitar, gave me drinks and had a long talk. We talked about Eric Gales a very good friend with whom he played a lot , Joe of course, blues and much more. You can read it in Dutch on www.bluesmagazine.nl  Sorry Lance if you read this, he follows Joe career and reads Joe's website too., I still have to translate it in English  and send it to you.. On Facebook, Lance put the interview on his site often. he was very satified with it.
The show in de Bosuil was great again, I reviewed it too.

So if he is around worth every penny and give him my regards. This July he plays at the Moulin Blues festival in Ospel Holland. I'll be there.

That is fantastic news....saw it posted on Facebook today. I would love to be there. I believe the show is to be streamed live on the net for those who can't make it.

I'm sorry Andre, Lance was not in Memphis but we are told he was working in the studio and could not appear. I can ask my son to see if he can get the email address through Eric, I'll let you know ASAP. I was really bummed out when I heard he wasn't there. had so looked forward to meeting him. and oh by the way, Salvation From Sundown is incredible, what about that track ROMEO !!! If any yous guys have not heard this track, wowowow.

Lance is also playing the Hebden Bridge Blues Festival one night during 27-30 May 2011  we are also arranging other UK gigs for him around the festival if possible
