Introduction from Bill C

I have been lurking for quite a long time, but never posted anything on this forum.

I have been a Joe fan since 2000, when I saw him for the first time (for free!) at the Rathskeller in Indianapolis.

I had no idea what Joe looked like, and when the guy who was setting up the equipment on stage picked up a guitar and started playing, I turned to my wife and said '**##, the roadie is pretty good!' not knowing that the 'roadie' was Joe himself!

Since then, I can't get enough of the guy's music. I have seen him live in Indy every time he has been here since 2000, including a magic day in summer a few years back when he played at the Broad Ripple Blues Fest in the afternoon, and then later that night at a club called the Patio.

I took my best friend who had seen Hendrix back in the day to see Joe at the House of Blues in Chicago. Steve turned to me in the middle of Joe's set and said 'he's better than Hendrix'

I went back home to Cleveland, Ohio (where I am originally from) to see Joe last May, and then I saw him again in Chicago a month later at the Crossroads Guitar Fest.

Anyway, go make a long story longer, I have been going to rock concerts since 1971 (my first concert included Chuck Berry) and have seen all the guitar greats from Clapton, Beck, and Page on thru the latest crop of Joe, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jonny Lang and John Mayer.

For me, no one holds a candle to Joe Bonamassa.

I am proud to say I have created quite a few fans for Joe thru the years, and it is fantastic to see him get the recognition these days that he truly deserves.
