I get on line @ noon to buy great tickets for Jeff Beck and guess what by the time I get in the system-all the good seats are gone already...Imagine that..all the good seats gone...(Greed -Stub hub and scalpers..)...Total scam/total crap.....
This will be the last major show I pay to sit in the balcony for...I will not support Stub Hub or any scalper...hope they go out of business.
I'm thankful Joe takes care of us with a pre sale.... ...see you in March with at least a good seat down below.......:)

I got tickets to the LA show today, second row center, Goldenvoice password "Party"
I'm pretty happy this will be my 4th Jeff Beck show in the last 12 months. and I get to see Joe in a few weeks!
Someone just called me last night with 2 extra tickets for the show near Philly at the end of March. He said its a tribute to Les Paul, anyone seen this show yet or know any details?

Jeff did a tribute to Les Paul and Mary Ford at the Iridium Jazz Club in NY last June; it was in honor of Les’s 95th birthday. It was filmed for a DVD. An edited version of the show played on PBS in December, the DVD comes out in February.
The show went so well Jeff decided to take it on the road and they are doing 11 shows starting in March. Jeff plays with the Imelda May band with Imelda singing Mary’s parts. Imelda is a great singer and of course Jeff Beck is the best living guitar player (you can even ask Joe!)
The show is not the normal Jeff Beck show but a rockabilly set. (Jeff released an album called Crazy Legs in 1993 that is all rockabilly).
I saw the PBS version and it’s hot, I’ve also seen Jeff live about 15 times, (twice from the front row) he is the true master.
I would encourage everyone who has the opportunity to see Jeff play live, no matter what he plays you will be impressed.
Here's a clip from the show:
Those two dead nail Les Paul and Mary Ford's sound and style. Should be a great show for those that like that style of music.
Rick
Thanks Front Row Fred,
Such detail, thanks for the info, that's exactly what I needed to make my decision to get the 2 tickets. Just an outstanding thing for Jeff Beck to do...where would all current guitarists be without Les Paul? The first show sold out quick, they added a second show, it starts at 10:45PM, we'll be in the Front Row! Thanks Fred!

It's crazy, I went to see him last year in Manchester, England and the whole of the top tier pretty much was empty (the same venue that Joe sold out a week earlier). Just goes to show the state of the music industry here and the dwindling numbers interested in seeing one of the greatest players of all time!
Great news Angela, gald you will get to see Jeff in person, and front row no less, congrats.
Mark, as a long time fan of Jeff's I've learned that people either love him or hate him. With many of the regular "rock" crowd coming down on the hate him side.
For this site all I have to say about Jeff is listen to how Joe talks about him.
Enjoy Angela, you will see him before I do so I'll expect a detailed review with 8x10 glossy photos with descriptions written on the back!

This tour should not be confused with the Les Paul tribute tour that will end in early April. As the only show in LA will be the Les Paul one, I will be there, but I'd love to catch this version as well, but unles he gets a lot closer to LA I won't make it.
If he's playing in your town you'd be a fool not to see it.
Jeff Beck is still the master on the Stratocaster as he smoked the crowd last night in Pittsburgh.
Young Tyler Bryant from Texas has been opening up for him the last few shows...
Tyler Joined up with Jeff on "Sly & the family stone's Dance to the music" for a dueling solo that was incredible to say the least......Tyler has gotten so much better since the last time we saw him
Highlight of the show for us was getting a couple of Jeff's autographs to a small but loyal crowd...
Still very pumped up today....
Happy Easter Everybody...:)
I get to see Jeff Beck on Tuesday night for the first time in Louisville, KY. I can't wait. There is something very special about seeing one of the all time masters of the guitar live!
