Topic: Bonamassa Les Pauls.
Having got back to playing again, I'm totally enjoying my JBLP (and the R8) and I have to commend Gibson on the JBLP. I am amazed just what a great instrument it is and the work and attention to detail that went into the utter playability.
The fretboard has limitless bending abilty- you can bend the B up 5 half tones and more. The pups are as hot as hot.
I also note how detailed the neck profile is- very thick near the nut and much flatter near the heel.
It really is one of the finest players' instruments around. Very interesting to b2b with the R8- the JB is much hotter.
JB LP Goldtop No. 290- Aged...rather like me.
