Topic: Budda Superdrive 18

So I've got a Budda Superdrive 18 1x12 combo on the way. I'm not sure of the year but its got the tell-tell signs of a (gasp) pre-peavey one. I bought it used and according to UPS it will be here on Wednesday. I've wanted a Budda ever since I saw the Live at Rockpalast DVD and in the credits it said that Joe used a Budda Superdrive 45 and a Bluesbreaker. I loved his delay tone and since Joe loves effects loops and Bluesbreakers obviously don't have them, I figured Joe's delay was coming through the Budda. I have an old DD-3 that's my standby and can't wait to plug in the LP and rock it out. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for settings to get me started on the Budda when it gets here, or if anyone knows the settings Joe used when he used to play Buddas?

BTW, I've got a spare Greenback that I'm thinking of putting in. I've heard the Budda Phat 12 isn't such a great speaker.

Guitars: 1974 LP Custom, 2013 R8
Amps: '88 JCM 800 w/ TV cab, Tone King Falcon
Effects: Fulltone Clyde, Monsterpiece Stud, EP Booster, Strymon El Capistan

Re: Budda Superdrive 18

I have mine straight up at noon for bass, mid, and treble.  I have my drive and rhythm at 9.  It is a great sounding amp, you won't be disappointed.  I was running a holy grail reberb in the loop just to add a little presence.
