Topic: The ultimate cure for GAS?

I've been a delay junkie since I was born and have considered to get help to cure this obsession.

The solution may seem kinda strange: Having both G-System and Nove Delay wasn't enough. I've got a TC 2290! I need help! LOL:-) I just got it and it looks like new. Unbelievable!

Anyone who has some favorite settings to share?

If you'll excuse me, I'm going to play Run like hell and some U2 stuff until my head pops.

Go with the blues!

PS! I hope I'll never be an alcoholic. My solution would most likely be buying a liquor store .....

Re: The ultimate cure for GAS?

anyone who owns or has owned a delay pedal must play run like hell through it.

non compliance will result in sending the heavies round.  wink

I play that all the time with my Hughes and Kettner Replex.  I loves me some tube drive delay action!

sad  hitting a deer with your car is a cure for GAS. I'm afraid to shop online or look through a musiciansfriend magazine because of my looming $500 deductible.

That's one way to go hunting, albeit a slightly more expensive...and messy way of doing it.

Wow!  I am apologizing in advance for this one.  I am 26 years old and have been playing for about 15 years and even consistently gig 2 times a week for the past 3 years.....I have no idea what GAS stands for.  I imagine it has something to do with an insatiable appetite to buy gear but please help me out with this one.  I have seen it on other forums too and until have been too embarrassed to ask. Thanks!!!!

Re: The ultimate cure for GAS?

Don't feel bad I just found out too!  lol

Re: The ultimate cure for GAS?

I Suppose we should use G.A.S. with periods.

Since I'm going for a PhD. Everything has to be in "APA" format... and you cannot use an acronym unless you spell it out first: e.g.:

Nic had Guitar Acquisition Syndrome (G.A.S.) until he hit a deer with his car. As a temporary painful treatment for G.A.S., it is bound to come back after he pays his deductible. G.A.S. still has no permanent cure.
