Topic: treble bleed

So how about it? What do you guys think about treble bleed wiring on les paul style guitars?

Re: treble bleed

I never needed it on a Les Paul but some strats do.  I've put them on before and its hurt the tone as you roll down so beware to just let your ears be the judge.   If you buy a RS guitarworks kit I doubt you would need one.

Re: treble bleed

One of the best things I have ever done (amps, effects, cables) is install the VitQ/paper.oil in my LP...it's organic...the tone is wonderful. Is that just me?

Re: treble bleed

I installed some Orange Drops into my Lester about a year ago, and now I'm thinking about ordering parts and begin to upgrade it to better components. Just wondering if anybody thought treble bleed was useful. Thanks! I may order one of those RS kits...

Re: treble bleed

I don't think you'll need it with the RS guitarworks kit.

Re: treble bleed

RS guitarworks looks like a little better componets my opinion.  I've had 4 kits from them and I know they work on every guitar I've installed them into.  Its worth the extra money to have quality componets.  Brass shafts, are a must what ever you go with.  If its aluminum pass on it.
