Topic: Clapton's 2010 Crossroads DVD

Just bought the DVD today; wow what a gathering of great guitar players.

Honestly, I could do without Cheryl (?sp) Crow, and with allot more Joe Bonamassa.

It was great seeing ZZ top, Jimmie Vaughan, Jeff Beck and so many others.

Highly recommend

Re: Clapton's 2010 Crossroads DVD

I watched it last night and was a little depressed after watching it.  They kept making refferences to Hubert sumlin and his condition, BB is over 80 now, Clapton need either hair dye or a hair cut one...  It was about the shift the music scene is making just this year.

I did think it was funny watching Joe's video when Robert Randolph kept looking at Joe to do a solo.  It was awesome, but that one dude with the white strat style guitar (Pino Daniele) shouldn't have asked him to be there.  You could see him roll his eyes every time they started another solo.  I was laughing honestly.

EC sound as good as ever, but I felt like Disc 2 was the Derek Trucks Crossroads.  He's a great player too, but I like Warren Haynes better.
