Happy to report I have strings from John Prine that I will be sending on. John performed at the Des Moines Civic Center where I work.

This photo was after the BCC show in San Diego. I didn't think to take the photo during the meet and greet. The ear rings and crosses would have looked out much better with the extra light.

Also Angela, Aaron Williams was interviewed and quoted in the article. Aaron is one of those young guys that from the moment you meet him, you immediately know the quality of person he is. Aaron actually donated the strings he used when he and his band opened for Jonny Lang. I think Aaron was planning on saving them, but when I approached him about donating any used strings, he offered those up right away. That, in today's world, is referred to as class much like the class that Joe shows all of us. I consider myself very lucky to know both Joe and Aaron!

Hope the Marcus Bonfanti - Glastonbury strings arrived ok in USA, I also have some more of Chantel McGregors strings kindly donated to myself for the charity at the recent Cambridge Rock Festival that will be on its way to you as soon as the consent form gets back to me .
Can anyone tell me how much % goes to the receiving charity as a donation. Been trying to find out the figures without much luck. I understand the company is setup as a non profit but how much actually goes as benefit to a charity.

Elisa is meeting with certain board members Thursday. (treasurer and someone about the 501c) I live about 7 hours from the SFAC base in Erie, Pennsylvania, so I am not an active board member, however I do receive the minutes etc. I don't know these specific details, but you can contact Elisa directly at elisa@stringsforacure.com.
