Love that Classic Plus!  Those things fetch a pretty penny because they were solid wood back then (I think) and the flame tops rival some custom shop stuff.  NICE!

Just got it a couple weeks ago wink super deal

I must have missed your post.  Very nice collection!  The SG is pretty cool looking.  Get tired of always seeing them in the same colors..Even though I have a red one, it's still nice to see some variation.  -S.

Okay, here's my humble rig:

I also use a Fender Deluxe VM combo on a Carvin 2x12 for smaller gigs.  I would like to eventually swap out the Fulldrive and Boosta Grande with an EP Booster and Plimsoul.

Good idea with the tape on your pedals for reminders on the settings.

I used to tape my setting on my pedals, like I'm a pro, but things sounded different wherever I played so I constantly have to tweak them.  Then once the band kicks in, I have to further change settings.  The DSL and 1936 cab is in my opinion the perfect rig.  Extremely versatile, I just hate how the Marshall cabs are slightly narrower than the Marshall heads?!  And the DSL rubber bottom feet DON'T line up with the tracks on top of the cab?  SERIOUSLY!  -Seth

I will have to check but I am pretty sure the rubber feet line up with the tracks on the top of the cab and the depth is about 2 inches deeper than my amp head if we are talking about the same thing.  As for the tape on the pedals, it's not to look cool, it stems from having done a couple of gigs where I had to walk in without doing a sound check and actually having to have the other guitar player set up my rig.  This way, everything is close.  I have a Pedal Train 2 with a soft case and sometimes the knobs move taking it in and out of the case.  One of our gigs, I showed up and had no delay until I realized the pedal had moved to the HOLD setting.  Thanks for the comments.  I'm pretty happy with everything

Try a Marshall type head (I have a Plexi-type) on a THD 2x12...uh-oh...overhang by about a couple of inches either side.  hmm
Looks nice and neat with an Orange or THD amp on top though...

I'm really happy with the 1936.  It originally had the G1275 ??  speakers, but I swapped out for V30's and I am really happy with the tone out of it.  Not to mention, I bought the head and cab separately for less than a grand total.

Same here.  700 for the DSL, Brand new pretty much, 300 for 1936 cab.  Both on Craigslist, separate times though.  Once in a while there is good stuff on there. -Seth

I made this computer wallpaper from promo photos of guitars I own.  The Les Paul Standard Faded in the picture is tobacco burst, but I couldn't find a photo like mine (heritage cherry sunburst).  Close enough!

Re: Guitar, Gear Collection pics. Lets See them! Updated Pics.

Took some pics of my current rig(s) using my macbook photo booth since my camera battery is dead and I don't have a charger. Otherwise they would be better. For the most part, I just use the 2 combos but sometimes 2 heads and a single 2x12 cab. Only on occasion I'll take both 2x12s or break out the big guns (100 watt heads not pictured). The rack houses my wireless, reverb unit and a power conditioner. A drawer holds all my cables. Rack and guitar stand case sit behind the amps during a gig. The guitars are just run of the mill Gibsons, nothing fancy.

I hope to try and get a video of some sound clips maybe this weekend.

Re: Guitar, Gear Collection pics. Lets See them! Updated Pics.

Devan, Like the PRS!

Stefan, Thanks man!

I'll have to get the rest of my guitars out and get some pictures. My buddy paints motorcycles so he and I painted the back of my goldtop black some time ago. It has gold grovers on it too. Looks nice with the black hardware but I switch it to white every now and then.

Thanks Seth - I actually bought that PRS Mira at the Guitar Centre in Seattle a couple of years ago on a trip to the US... It actually sits on a stand behind my desk where I work now, and I am frequently picking it up to play it.  It's a fantastic substitute for the SG, IMO.  I play a lot of AC/DC licks on that, which is probably sacrilege for a PRS... lol

Re: Guitar, Gear Collection pics. Lets See them! Updated Pics.

Devan, I have 2 older PRS guitars. An 89 and a 91. In the late 90s I kinda lost interest in them (still loved and played mine), but when I first saw the Mira, I really liked it. Love to try one out and I would definitely consider buying one but I've got more than enough guitars!
