Topic: Guitar, Gear Collection pics. Lets See them! Updated Pics.

I was looking but can't find any other posts of people's guitar/gear/amp collections.  I have a thing for looking at a virtual music store in someone's home, so if you have a cool collection of gear, please post some pictures, videos.  -Seth

I don't think I ever saw a double cut PRS starla?  Those are really cool looking guitars.  I've been tempted to buy one. -Seth

That's actually a PRS Mira.  Bought it a couple of years back on a trip to Seattle.  Very nice guitar but I find it a bit tricky to get used to the different scale length as compared to most of my others...  smile

Oooh *dribble*

Like the Les Paul (front left), the kinda wine red one with the smaller humbuckers. Very cool. That's a few years old isn't it?  tongue haha

Also what's the acoustic (top right)? It looks like a Fender but it could be anything haha I must get into this game when I've got all my guitars back!  big_smile

I got some hot ones and hopefully a new Gibson on the way in the coming weeks/months?  smile

Hi Lukestarable,

Thanks! The wine red one was my first ever guitar - 1974 Les Paul Deluxe.  Beautiful, although now in need of some fretwork!  The acoustic is a Maton ECWC80 - Beautiful Australian made acoustic which I bought only last year and am still breaking in.  That was my first ever steel string acoustic in over 25 years of playing...

I'm just going to stick everything on from the last five years...some I've owned for years, some for months, some for days...but there's a range...and some from my friend...because that was cool stuff to play on.

Les Paul and THD all that's left.

Is that the SLP RI which you said was pretty bad?

Also...I see you have the Zeppelin DVD...v.nice.

...and a PRS amp/cab...ooh pricey!

Re: Guitar, Gear Collection pics. Lets See them! Updated Pics.

Yep thats the SLP - looked beautiful but sounded like @#$$. The PRS and JMP are my friends amps - both killer! I traded that SLP head for my Siletto and don't regret it - other than the TV cab (120w) is slightly underpowered for the 150w Stiletto and I have to run the head at 50w. Believe it or not, the best sounding out of the bunch is the DSL100 with the Jub cab.

I am a Zeppelin junkie and have tons of vids and recordings. Good Times Bad Times - fav rock song ever.

Cheers

Does you Jem have an Ebony fretboard?  Right after I bought mine in '08 maybe, I saw one on eBay with a full scalloped neck.  Too bad they don't offer that regularly.  They are truly, fine instruments.  Sound great for ANYTHING! -Seth

Man I really like that small Marshall rig to the left of the equally sweet silver checkered DSL.  Very jealous! -S.

Yes - it 'did' - it was the 7VWH model...crazily good neck and fretboard - one of the really best.

Shame the body was like balsa wood, the finish like a bad, flaky house paint and pickups like something off a bog-standard Ibanez. Cool guitar, not an 'over a grand' cool guitar - well, it has a name stuck on it.  tongue

(I'm making it sound like a fake, but really...when you have a LP in your hand with that solid lump of mahogany sustain...it feels like a toy in comparison).
