I think it sounds best in FRONT of an amp first of all. I was setting the rhythm a little fast and kicking it on and off, but I prefer to set it slower and the mix down enough that you can still here it when a cord rings but not overpowering. I now just leave it on like that all the time. It really sounds the best to my ears that way. The little bit of dimension that it adds really goes a long way. Give it a shot. Also, I use the Fulltone mini deja vibe for a nice slow swirl, in conjunction with the subtle Supatrem setting. It gives you a lot of depth when you need it. -Seth
thats seth,
I plugged in with it tonight, I need to get in there and mess with the knobs inside the pedal to really dial it in.

I've been eyeing one of these for a while but am gonna stick with my TR-2. I saw one of David Grissom's board and thought if it's good enough for him.

I usually have it right after my Korg Pitchblack, in front of the amp. I use fast tempo, soft knee and both of the knobs at 2:00. That's a good place to start.

post 43. Good luck!
Uh-oh....I bought a load of pedals this year (Fulldrive2, Univibes, ODs)...ended up selling them all because I just liked the roar from my Orange...
Now I'm salivating for a taste of the Trem...the subtle effect makes everything sound just more three-dimensional.
Now, where's my card?
hahaha dave
I just bought a JCM 800 2204, im trying not to play too much with it until it gets here so i can set it to that

Thanks for the setting tip. I'm also thinking of getting the Supa-Trem.
Fulltone pedals cost about double here in Europe and American stores are not allowed to sell them outside the States (even ebay stores...).
So would any American brethren here on this forum be willing to go through the time and trouble to buy one and mail it to me? I can send you the money in advance.

Have you considered another trem pedal that IS available in Europe? I watched some videos and thought the Boss version sounded nice but I did end up buying a Fulltone since I had the cash. Otherwise I would def have considered other options. -S.

It is available over here -- that is not the problem. The problem is it costs almost exactly twice(!) as much. For no apparent reason except to fill the coffers of some importer who contributes bugger all to the actual value of the pedal.
A friend of mine will bring me a Supa Trem from the States next week, so that's sorted.
I see many here recommend having the Supa in front of the amp. I would have thought that it should go into the loop like all Modulation effects. Any reason why it should go into the front? What differences are there (front vs. FX loop)? Of course, I will find out myself eventually but I'll have to wait for another week.

Cool, new pedals are always exciting! I think it sounds more pronounced when placed in front. When in the loop, it sort of got lost. I tried it both ways, and thought like you, it SHOULD go in the loop. But, it sounded best out front, along with my Mini Deja Vibe. It all opinion, you'll figure out what suits you best. -Seth
I'm with you. Mine is in front of the amp, and it sounds great there.
Great, thanks. Before or after boost/OD?
After boosts and dirt. It needs to be one of the last in the line (unless you run delay in front of amp...delay/reverb are always in the loop or at the very end).
Yeah, always sounds best at end of chain in front of amp. -S
