Paul Peed Smith joined Davy on stage at The Birchmere 8-25-09 on the song "What In The World".
Just as the first video starts Paul presents Davy with a new guitar worth $30,000.

I'm sure the guitar that Mr. Smith is referring to is this one:

Shortly after Davy received the guitar, I was able to ask him what makes up a $30,000 guitar. He named off a number of things that it included which I can't remeer, but I know there is some gold on it and mammoth bone. I'm assuing that the mammoth bone was used for the nut. I've seen the guitar up close and the wood on it is quite spectacular along with the inlays on the neck. Davy calls this guitar his "Ellie" and it is his main, go to guitar.  cool

Needless to say, he was quite humbled by the gift from Paul Reed Smith.
