Blues Pills, 22 April, 02 Islington

Blues Pills did the support for Rival Sons at The Forum, London a couple of weeks ago. I thought they were pretty good although the sound was way bass-heavy so the singer and guitarist were drowned a bit.

I've been looking through the guide and the the first gig I've got in my diary for next year is Colosseum and that's not until 28th Feb. I need to remedy that. Keep up the good work Phil.

Re: The London Gig Guide

Thanks David. Inspired by Mike's recent update of the North East Gig Guide, I'm trying to do the same for the London Guide before the Christmas festivities. I've updated page 1 as far as the Half Moon and will try to complete the rest tomorrow.

Check out the link to The Boom Band, who have introduced some very novel ways of raising funds. Put a note in your diary for  Friday, 13th March.

Thanks for all the interim updates from everyone.

As promised, the list on page one has been updated and there's plenty of really good gigs to get out to see in the New Year.

Happy Christmas to all our readers! big_smile

Hi Phil, I know you are a busy man but any chance of taking this up to date. Got 3 London visits planned and I don't book my flights until I see what gigs are on. Cheers.

Thanks for this Nick. The Hackney Empire is not on my radar so thanks.
The pricing seems fairly ambitious at £98 and £75 including fees. Aggresive even.

Page 1 updated as far as The Roundhouse. The rest tomorrow. Lunch break over and nose back to the grindstone. sad

Out in the provinces I've shelled out £75 for Brum. Still very much an "ouch" moment.
I don't like shelling out big money, but KC may never come by again...
