Re: W T Feaster Band - USA.

I first became aware of the WT Feaster Band when they were playing the London area venues last month. This was a recommendation from an on-line friend who I sometimes see at gigs. Unfortunately, my car was off the road for a few days and I couldn't get to any of them. After getting into their You Tube vids in the last few weeks, I regret even more that I had to stay at home. A superb live band, and I hope they will get back to the UK sometime soon. The Spring of 2011 would be nice.

#1kyfan,

Yep, this is definitely off topic, but I have to respond.  Have you by chance heard rumor that Kentucky may have to forfeit that record setting season?  I've included a link from the New York Times that should give you pause.  I'm an alum from I.U. and my school is still suffering the hangover of a NCAA investigation and ruling three years ago.  I hope that doesn't happen to the Cats, but I don't think NCAA scrutiny will leave Coach Cal.  Maybe Tres (AHSmith) can give us some insight in a separate thread since he lives in the Birmingham area.
Staying on topic - I still haven't heard the W.T. Feaster Band, but I need to look into their schedule to see if they'll be playing in my hometown.  I've got their album and it's pretty good.

Good stuff, Indianapolis is only a few hours from here, I'll will watch for them to make it back home smile

Sorry this part is totally off topic but I can't resist commenting on your user name. Here in Lexington, Ky, UK is the acronym for University of Kentucky. Our Men's Basketball team holds the record for the most wins in NCAA history passing the 2000 win mark in the 09-10 season. So around here these days when you see UK Dream Team it means the players John Wall, Demarcus Cousins, Patrick Patterson, Eric Bledsoe and Daniel Orten. All 5 players were picked in the first round of the 2010 NBA Draft, and UK now holds the record for the most players drafted in the 1st round. No worries though there will be another Dream Team recruited here I'm sure smile
