Re: Classic Rock Mag

Probably my favourite CR freebie CD is this one. Certainly the most consistent.

Just a bit disappointed that the JB gig had a more prominent write up than Opeth's, but that's just me...

Re: Classic Rock Mag

^...and you write that on the JB forum?  roll

Re: Classic Rock Mag

Well, there's not much life on Opeth forums.... roll  wink

JB had better be good at Rotherham to come anywhere near Opeth, their RAH gig was the best I've been to - and I'm long in the tooth.

Re: Classic Rock Mag

Just received the 200th Edition today. (It takes awhile to get stateside) Did you catch the Download review?

It's on page 228.

"Joe Bonamassa, on the other hand, doesn't do stage banter.  Sticking out like a James Blunt fan at a Cannibal Corpse gig in his neat, pale suit, Joe nonetheless has no trouble affirming his dexterous fretwork credentials on the likes of The Ballad of John Henry."

Took me 3 different trips to Barnes & Noble before Issue 200 finally came in.  I bought the Guitarist mag with Joe on the cover but was too cheap to also buy the CR, so I just stayed in the store and read Joe's interview about dying on page 82.  Shoot, I missed Page 228 altogether!  But I did notice a column that was included on Beth Hart!
