Topic: First YouTube changes now... Harmony Central.

I am a simple guy. Who enjoys simple things in life. Like watching videos of Joe on YouTube. Videos of him talking about his gear, fan videos etc. So my life has been made more dificult recently when the 'do gooders' in Youtube decided to change the whole format and remove the star rating as some video uploaders had their feelings hurt buy people giving their videos poor ratings. Now when i'm looking down a bunch of videos I don't know what's good and what's not because the starts have all gone. Not only that but they have changed the comments layout also.
If it aint broke don'e fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why oh why mess with something so popular. I have read many people ranting about how bad it is on other forums I just thought I would ask anyone here what their opinion was on the new lay out.
And also just went to check a harmony-central review on a piece of gear I was thinking of buying and it's changed to a new Bulls**t layout also. I looked about, tried to find what I was looking for and then just got fed up. I loved the old basic review data base where EVERYTHING that was ever made in 'Gear World' had a review.
I'm going to miss both these websites...

I agree.

I'm all for change...but the youtube layout is diabolical. It's the example of 'don't see it till you click it' - wastes so much time.
HC...unless you know what you want...again, wasting time.

I just had a look at Harmony Central after reading your comments. It's a disaster. Impossible to find a review. What were they thinking?

They are just following Ebay's lead!  Give it time you'll get used to it and they will change it again.

I even tried searching the product with 'Harmony Central' attached in the google search and it brought up a link but it did not link to the right HC page, just the main page.
I don't care about what elese HC offers, I know it has a good forum, but i'm willing to bet 95% of it's user's use it for the review database which is (was) huge.

I always checked HC before buying gear.
This is really disapointing.
