Topic: Joe B Guitar Rig Patches

Anyone done some good ones or know where any are?

Much appreciated if so....

Re: Joe B Guitar Rig Patches

Hey, this is my first post.  Lurked for quite a while, love Joe's stuff.  I think I've got an okay set-up for Guitar Rig for you.  Which one are you using, 1 2 or 3?  I've got GR 2, and this is a rig I've used for a while but recently made a slight change to give a Joe-type sound...

You should have the Guitar Rig bank of presets...if so, find the "50s - 70s Rock" category (hopefully, you should have this).  Number 43 in the bank is called "Gilmour Tone".  I use this preset and only change this:

In the cabinet it should be a 4x12 UK 70s with the mic position = off axis.  Change the mic to a "Condenser 87"

Then, at the end of the chain, there's a "Quad Delay".  Change the TIME knob to 371 ms.  Make the FEEDBACK = 26.3%.

That's it!  You can mess around with little things here and there as you wish, but I think it can handle some of those nice, wet lead tones pretty well.  Hope this helps.
