Topic: Summerfest-Milwaukee June 24th -> July 4th 2010....

For anyone interested........A local radio station just announced that on Friday June 25th, 2010 Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will be playing at Summerfest. The opening band will be ZZ Top. I'm assuming this will be held at the Marcus Amphitheatre Stage located on the Summerfest grounds.

By the way, Summerfest is the World's largest music festival held every year in Milwaukee on the shores of Lake Michigan. Great music, food and beer to be enjoyed by all.  smile

Unfortunatly Petty is the day before the Crossroads Guitar Festival so won't be able to make it and be bright eyed and bushy tailed for Eric and friends.

Summerfest announced yesterday that Eric Clapton will be performing on Monday, June 28th. Special guest opening for him will be Roger Daltry. The Summerfest website can be found here:

Another show added to the Summerfest Marcus Amphitheatre stage. July 1st will feature Santana with special guest Steve Winwood.
