Topic: Johnny Mastro & Mama's Boys - new cd in March - Europe tour in April

There'll be a cd release party on March 28 at Long Beach, California from Johnny Mastro & Mama's Boys.
And what's better, Johnny & his Boys will start their Europe tour in April.
That's what I've found about the gigs, but not from Johnny's side, so I can't promise that the gigs are confirmed, but I marked my calender:

April 30, Friday -  Heimathaus Twist, Germany

May 1, Saturday - Meisenfrei, Bremen, Germany

May 2, Sunday - Muddys, Wilhelmshaven, Germany

May 4, Tuesday - Toni, Trier, Germany

May 8, Saturday - Moulin Blues, Ospel, Netherlands
Johnny Mastro & Mama' Boys will be the headliner (last year it was Joe Bonamssa & Band).
Other bands on Saturday are: Daniel Norgren, The Rhythm Chiefs, Thorbjorn Risager, The Insomniacs, Rick Estrin, Dirty Sweet, New Mannish Boys, The Paladins, Cedric Burnside & Lightnin' Malcom

May 9, Sunday - Yard Club Cologne, Germany

May 12, Wednesday - Turmvilla Bad Muskau, Germany

May 14, Friday - Briefkasten Cloppenburg, Germany

May 15, Saturday -  Saal-Birgit Viersen, Germany  lol  lol  lol
That's where I am. Best small venue, best people, best atmosphere

May 19, Wednesday - Spirit of 66, Verviers, Belgium

Mai 21, Friday - Musiktheater Piano, Lütgendortmunder Str. 43, Dortmund, Germany

A few words about Johnny Mastro & Mama's Boys:
I've seen him last year in Saal Birgit in Viersen and it was a night to remember  lol .
It was a thunderstorm of blues-rock-boogie with Johnny on the harp.
One could say, Johnny is the "Dirty Harty" of the harp with a raw and unpolished sound and full of energy and so is the rest of the band.
The sound you hear on the band's myspace website is poor. It's a live band!

Don't miss him if you like it raw!  lol  big_smile  lol
