Wow, thats a real generous thing to do!
Sadly I dont have as many possessions, and no way near as much money. But my last paid gig for weeks will be next Saturday, and I'll be getting paid between £50 and £70, which I have promised to give all to the charity.

I am in the habit of making regular donations to the Salvation Army and the Red Cross. I also do regular blood donations. I applaud all who give what they can to help those less fortunate than they are.

I ran across a post on a FB group this morning that Tommy Emmanuel is auctioning three of his guitars with the proceeds going to assist Haiti.

Thanks mikeb, will do (and thanks too, RickB).
Hugh just called after saying goodbye to his son/my grandson and is waiting on his flight. If time allows he hopes to write a journal and send home updates from time to time. If he's able to do that I will be posting them on the BS Blog.
An honorable country sending an honorable guy to do an honorable job. Dad is proud.

Appreciate the sentiment but can't take credit for that one Jeff, the Navy is sending him...
Even better. Hat tip and a smart salute to the sailor from another. Many thanks for his service.
