Topic: WHICH MULTIEFFECTS CAN KEEP THE SOUND OF MY BLUES DELUXE AMP?

I own a BOSS ME 50 which is not supposed to modify the tone of amp and guitar for it's only bunch of pedals whithout

preamp but I find it's not really the same it's a bit harsher .Which will be the best multi to conserv the integrity of my amp

blues deluxe and my goldtop tone if it exists for muti are known to have preamps.

For driven sounds I add a ts9 AND a BB2 AND soon an a ARTIC TWIN HEAD PEDAL which I discovered on UTUBE and

SOUNDS GOOD  and my Boss ME50 is coonvenient fo I can use the volume pedal ad all other effects and of course the tuner

Re: WHICH MULTIEFFECTS CAN KEEP THE SOUND OF MY BLUES DELUXE AMP?

what kinda sounds you using the ME50 for? is it your main source of driven sounds or just used for delays, chorus etc?

i have both the blues deluxe and a goldtop (p90's). i tend to use the goldtop for songs that need a bit more grit in conjunction with a couple of choice pedals. currently this is a tonebender clone into a timmy clone. the blues deluxe is a great amp for using pedals, though is know for being a tad harsh at higher levels. if your only using your ME50 for a couple of sounds, would it be worth selling it on and getting a couple of dedicated stompers of the particular effects you use?

i used to use a toneworks multi effects unit back in my early guitar years, which was ok but never gave me the best tone in the world. it's only in the past five years that i've gone from using lots of pedals etc to using a one or two at the most and working with my hands and the guitar/amp combination first.

Re: WHICH MULTIEFFECTS CAN KEEP THE SOUND OF MY BLUES DELUXE AMP?

I use the ME 50 in conjunction with a TS9,a BB2 as I said before and a VOX WHA;But I still need to use the Me 50 to benefit

from the useful tuner  al the right delays, flanger , phaser, chorus and tremolo and above all the volume pedal which is quite

useful to play low at home or even on stage or in little places where people nowadays use to complain about loud players!

so my main question even if the Me 50 ROUGLY RESPECT MY SIGNALS, IS THERE ANOTHER BETTER MULTI WITH A TRUE

REPLY? such as tc electronic, gt10,zoom, digitech, or anything else

Re: WHICH MULTIEFFECTS CAN KEEP THE SOUND OF MY BLUES DELUXE AMP?

have you tried using the ME50 in the FX loop? means more cables, but might make things a little better.

i think i read your first post wrong, lack of caffine smile sorry
