Topic: Carvin MTS 3200 Combo Amp

Anyone else play one of these?
I've had mine for about 5 years and love it. I can get great tone with EL34's and power turned down to 1/2 at 50 watts and an ext cab. I also run a cry baby, carl martin hot drive and boost and a boss DD-6.

I feel like my sound is missing something but I don't know what. Any suggestions?
I'm going for that JB/EJ tone.

Guitars #264 JBLP, a 94 MIJ 62' re-issue strat, a home built relic'd strat.

Thanks in advance..

Are you cranking the amp?  I'd snag an 808 too.

Can't crank it.  I have a 9 month old. Maybe an attenuator?

Why an 808 vs the hot drive and boost??

I have an old Ibanez TS10 that uses the same chip as the 808s do. Its analog like the hot drive and boost.
