Anyone familiar with this iso cab? From the looks of it, I think it might be exactly what I'm looking for to do some home recording but still be able to get the sound of a cranked tube amp.

Wow for what those cost you can frame out an amp isolation room in your basement.  Thats what I would do, then you can use the cab, speakers, mics, etc....

From what I am reading, iso boxes have a very boxy sound. I don't want to drop that kind of money and then have it sounding like garbage. Has anyone dealt with them in person? I know the other option is to get the Palmer speaker sim that Joe uses. I will be recording at home and in an apartment (when I move out of my parents basement) so I won't be able to crank it loud enough to just mic it.
