Topic: joe: Classical guitar influences/style

I was curious about the origins of Joe's classical background. I think I am correct in saying that most of the classical riffs that he plays are more spanish than anything else?

Anyway... I don't think this is one that has been discussed... it should be interesting. Fire away lol

Ahh.....John McLaughlin, Al DiMeola and Paco DeLucia in an all-acoustic shootout.....amazing stuff.

I agree....great album (yes, I had it on vinyl), have heard this influence several times along the way (bits of Woke Up Dreaming, Palm Trees, etc.) and always meant to ask Joe if it was intentional or not.

Some cool video of the trio pops up on the torrent sites from time to time.  Would be interested to see some if anyone has any direct recordings off TV (Andre?)
