Lead Bus driver: Lewis Hamilton
Tour Manager: Tony Blair
Production manager/ logistics: Colin Powell

Joe BI think Patty would do a better job with Publicity than Oprah..

I've checked out a lot of GH's stuff on youtube after learning of him here and I'm sold. The Trapeze stuff kicks major arse and his solo stuff is outstanding as well. Brother's got a set of pipes, and I loves me a bassist with attitude. I for one am REALLY looking forward to this side project. Besides, I learned long ago that our host here wouldn't opt to participate in something like this if it wasn't top shelf.
Get on the bus! The line forms here...
Edited to add: ...and I hope Kev the Cave can coax some vocal harmonies out of JB and GH on this. I think they would mix very well.
Oh well, with Lewis Hamilton as lead driver you will be able to get to more gigs quicker although he might get a little frustrated with the low pull away speed of the bus or big rig
Way to go on picking a British driver
Derek Sherinian makes complete sense, LA based with tons of pedigree and collaborations and as stated below one of the worlds leading keyboard players

This is true.
Looking forward to whatever comes of any collaboration...
Reading you all folk with your respective opinions about Joe Superband, i was thinking it would be funny if he was preparing something completely different like a G3
Personally i'd like to see a new G3 with Joe, Andy Timmons and ... not sure about the third one
A G3 would DEAFinitely be at the top of my list, but I don't see it happening yet.
Andy Timmons is an awesome guitarist! I was listening to "Ear X-tacy" in the car today.
Personally I'd like to see a G3 with JoeB, JoeS & Gary Hoey. That would be one hell of a blues and rock show!
I'd like to see a G3 with Joe Satriani, Joe Bonamassa and Alex Skolnick

Joe and Alex Skolnick played together last year at NAMM... I think there are some videos of it on youtube.

Am I wrong in thinking 3G is put together by Satriani and Vai, and they invite a third guitarist to join them ?

Ah, great. I'll search for them on youtube. Thanks.

No, it's created by Joe Satriani and he invites two other guitarists.
As far as I know the last G3 was Satriani, Paul Gilbert and John Petrucci.

OK, thanks motöhead, the last one i have, on DVD is with Vai & Petrucci
I have the DVD with Vai and Malmsteen.
I'd love to see one with Joe (Satriani and Bonamassa )
Just done some deeper research, and i read it was, Satriani and Vai together who set G3 up in 1996. I'm sure someone else here will set the record straight.
Yes, I too would love to see the two Joe's and steve together.... you never know!!!
