Topic: Meteor shower

Anyone else a stargazer? The Leonids last night were spectacular if you could get to a dark area to view.

Re: Meteor shower

Yes, I am into this stuff.  But there was only 1 night these past few nights that the sky was clear, and I forgot all about the meteor shower that night. roll  I guess last night was supposed to be the peak, and I checked several times throughout the night (I was up anyway), but it was overcast.  Hopefully I'll be able to catch something these next couple nights.

Re: Meteor shower

We got up at 1am and viewed for a while, yawn. Saw two really good spark shooters and a bunch of small ones. Got lucky and had a cloudless night. We live in the city and the lights kill a lot of it but there's a spot that is shielded from the brightest street lamps that gives a chance to see the brightest ones. My photographer daughter in law headed out to the back country to do some time lapse shots so hope she got some good ones. Rick
