Re: Not Joe Related but are Gibson for real?
It's interesting that Gibson has removed any reference to the Hendrix Strat from their site. The backlash among all the guitar players I know was quick and severe. No one wanted a Gibson-branded Strat. I find it somewhat hypocritical on Gibson's part to be creating a S-type guitar after going to such lengths to prevent other companies from making LP-style guitars. Fender recently lost a case preventing companies from doing this, so Gibson's in the legal right, but it doesn't feel right as a guitar lover and guitar consumer.
