I've seen Steve live with Deep Purple and can tell you he is well worth catching live if you get the chance, although at the moment  it's US dates only.

I have followed Steve's career. And funnily, Don Airy was on PlanetRock.com last night talking to DJ Nicky Horne about his time in Deep Purple. He has worked with everybody!! Good interview.
