Did anyone notice that we blasted through the 4,000 barrier on the forum?
A good barometer as to how Joe's popularity has grown!!

Nice..................
Oh no that's Jazz - er.... good news anyway (for all us bluesguys)

Not a true number. The visitors outrank the the homies. A lot of those are one timers who figured they'd register for the door prizes. No, there are no door prizes, I'm just saying there aren't truly 4,000 "users" nor 40 "abusers" (some are proof one CAN reform!). Plus there's a bunch of single use users whose single puprose is free advertising-but...who can blame Entrepreneurs? The usage level has skyrocketed (I like the sound o' that), to the point I think some things crap out functionally on us here (search seems to lie from time to time or go on strike or is possessed by some demon) or at least there are slight delays or data collisions, but it's still heady happy days here in Joe Bonamassa Central!!! C'mon in and join in! We've been waitin' for you!

I'm with rocket on this. If anyone has done accountancy, you will know you can do anything with numbers. Love to know the Real number of "homies".
I am on another site that has broken through the 29,000 number, but i know thats not a true figure.

All I know is, it's a good forum, with good people, with a splendid artist. So that's what keeps me here.
I know what your saying Rocket and Brack, but one thing that you're not considering is how many people that visit Joe's forum often who are not "registered users". How many times do we see in the Introduction section, people saying they were visiting the forum for a long time, but never registered until just recently. The only measure we have is registered users and that number has continued to grow and grow. The same is true of Joe's Street Team, there are some very active Street Teamers and some that aren't so active. And then there are others who promote Joe, but are not part of his Street Team.
All in all, it's about getting Joe's name and music heard, the rest takes care of itself.

"The visitors outrank the the homies." That means I know people lurk and skulk without benefit of registration, for better or worse. THOSE numbers are very high, and the traffic congestion problems tend to make the registration number paltry in comparison to what is really happening on an hourly, let alone daily basis. High Fivin' everybody!
