Topic: Joe at Bergen PAC Englewood New Jersey August 12, 2009

What a day.....while waiting in the wine bar next to the theater, who walks in????  JOE!!! He walked in with a women and sat 4 barstools from me!!  I was with 3 newbies who couldn't understand why i was so giddy.... Anyway some time passed and i decided i needed to get a photo with Joe....i nervously approached and told him he's the greatest and is THE man...and he gladly to the pic!!! ...so i returned to my seat...nearly spilling 2 beers from the excitement!!! so since i had front row seats....i had brought a photo that was printed of the internet with the hopes that he could sign it after the show....well i thought....when am i ever going to be 10 feet from this living legend....so i decided to go back and ask for his autograph...again he was so gracious.....he asked where the pic was from ....and i was like "i don't know, it's off the internet!!"   he laughed and took his time with a fantastic autograph....then i figured maybe i'll chat!!!   i asked joe why he had worn a  red sox shirt at a concert  in boston some time ago...and said i thought he was a yankee fan!!.....then he turns to me...like an old friend i'd known for years and explains how if you live west of utica you are a yankee/giants fan and if you are east of utica you are usually a mets/jets fan!!!  so i told him i was a met/giant fan......with that i shook his hand and returned to my bar stool......all in all the greatest pre-concert experience ever....then it was off the the front row!!!  Joe is such a class act!!!   Great concert some awesome pics are on this site....and some video too....oh and the icing on the cake was snagging a guitar pic when it ended!!!!

We were at this show too.  It was a great show and an awesome experience.  Thanks for posting the pics. Joe really is a nice guy, isn't he?  I got a chance to say hello to him after the show.  He is always so gracious.  Forgot my camera, but saw him again at the Hot August Blues Festival and got some good pics.. I'll get them posted one of these days.
