Topic: Greetings from Belgium!

It seems to be a common thing here to introduce oneselves when becoming a member.
Well here it goes...

I'm Lennert, 23 years old and i'm from belgium, the promised land of beer and chocolate.
Tremendous bluesfan from gatemouth brown & robert johnson, T-bone walker to JL hooker, SRV, and off course Joe! The whole package basically.

At the beginning of this year i happened to see a live performance of Joe on TV and i was sold immediately. What a player, what a feel. I'm fully hooked on his music right now. 

Also, I play guitar myself.
And if anyone happens to have some good tabs voor 'if heartaches were nickles' i would be genuinely thrilled smile

Hello BossLennert and a warm welcome to the forum!  Anyone from a country who gave fries and mayonnaise to the world is very welcome in my book!

No doubt you've got your tickets to see Joe in Brussels in November and let's just say be prepared to be blown away.  You are in for a treat, but you probably know that already wink   Don't forget to post a review.

I would just echo LynB's welcome. This is a great place to post so join in when you can.

As for Tabs. JHJBJM is the guy for you. He's tabbed just about everything there is from what I can see. You find him in the gear section somewhere I would think which is where the players hang out...a lot. Alternatively post your request in general, you'll get what you want..pronto. Its that kind of place.

and about being 'old': i come across a bunch of 'non-beleivers' too. they'll see the light someday i guess:)

It's where my discover Joe moment happened. Antwerp actually.

I love Belgium and have already booked my 2010 summer holiday there !!
I will probably make a trip to the bar in Antwerp where the great moment happened.
