What an influence he had on me...been walking around in daze all day.  Really wanted to go to N.Y. see him and maybe sit in...One more regret to add to the list.  Being a musician and inventor myself, I have always felt connected.  Not to mention I own 3 les pauls (oops did).  Bad day for music, much more so than when michael jackson died, but the stupid sheeple will never know.  Much love and respect mixed with great sadness.  The world is a little darker today.

Where the hell does one get a black-backed gold top anyway?

Two of the most iconic American things came from the Milwaukee area: Harley-Davidson and Les Paul

Re: Les Paul dies aged 94

RIP to one of the most innovative musicians to ever live.  If it wasn't for Les we may have never been able to enjoy the great model guitar that bears his name or multi track recording that has been used ever since.  Here's two of the greats doing what they do in one of my favorite videos ever.  Les just embodied what being a guitar player was all about.  Hope he and Chet are doing this number in heaven...
